Hey y’all, I’m a lifelong Braves fan and a year round fanatic. This blog is for anything that has to do with the Braves and baseball in general. Feel free to read through any of the posts and leave your own comments, and if you find good information on Braves players, club operations or fan happenings drop a link! I’ll post stat breakdowns, my own thoughts on trades, signings, wins and losses, and my own experiences following the Braves.
Anyways, the blog is called Chief Noc-a-Homa, named after the old Braves mascot that was supposed to resemble an American Indian Chief. He was a fatality of the politically correct movement that swept through sports in the recent past, but I remember seeing him at games as a kid and being very intrigued by his mystical yet out-of-place presence. In tribute to him and the mighty Braves I’ll try to keep fresh posts up with information for both the casual and super intense fan alike.

I loved Noc-A-Homa too. My mom got his autograph outside the old Fulton Co. stadium in 1970. Also have a payroll check to him (Levi Walker).
